Held on Sunday, October 5 at Cape Fear Distillery in Elizabethtown North Carolina, this event features barbecue pitmasters from North & South Carolina preparing pork in multiple ways to claim the iconic Smithfield Cup trophy for the next year!

The Smithfield Cup, held in Elizabethtown, N.C., celebrates the rich barbecue history of North Carolina and South Carolina, featuring ribs, pork BBQ and pork tenderloin prepared from renowned pitmasters from each state in a friendly People’s Choice competition for Southern BBQ supremacy. A festival ticket will include ample meat and side samplings from each team, live music, a kids zone, vintage car display, barbecue vendors, along with a selection of beer, wine & spirits from Cape Fear Distillery.
