Join as Weymouth Center of the Arts and Humanities presents the August Writer-In-Residence Reading featuring Charles Oldham.
Charles Oldham is a native of Sanford, North Carolina, and has grown up with a love of everything about Tar Heel history. A graduate of Davidson College and the University of Georgia School of Law, he has been an attorney since 2000 and practiced criminal defense law for more than ten years. Charles now resides in Charlotte.
Charles received a History Book Award from the North Carolina Society of Historians in 2019, and a Gold Medal Award for True Crime from the eLit Book awards in 2021.
The event will be held in the Great Room at Weymouth Center. Doors open at 5pm. Please arrive by 5:20pm to find seating. The readings will begin at 5:30pm.
