Step into the frosty fun of Wintersville at Discovery Place Kids-Rockingham, a frosty world filled with playful, hands-on activities and winter-themed adventures. running from November 18th-December 29th.

Children and families can enjoy playful, frosty adventures including a sock skating rink, an indoor “snowball” fun flurry, and interactive science shows that explore ice fishing, snowstorms, and the effects of temperature. Throughout the Museum, you will find engaging activities like “ice” block building zones and iceberg stepping stones, all while encountering Arctic animal surprises.

Adding to the magic, special programs in December let you engineer igloos while learning about Inuit culture, explore the colorful science behind the Northern Lights, compare animals from the North and South Poles, and create your own blizzard to discover the uniqueness of snowflakes. Nearly every exhibit is dressed up with festive decorations and seasonal twists, making learning a truly joyful, wintry experience.
