Join for Wednesday Hummingbird Banding instruction with Weymouth Woods Sandhills Nature Preserve! Susan Campbell is the park naturalist and hummingbird expert. She will be leading the banding demonstration and Q&A on the ecology and behavior of the ruby-throated hummingbird! Banding takes place at the visitor center and will generally go until around 11am, depending on the number of birds being caught. This program is running May 24th-August 30th and may be canceled on short notice due to weather or staff availability. Please call the park before your visit to ensure the program is taking place.
