Join Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities for a captivating evening celebrating the intersection of art and literature at the opening of Interpreting Drums: The Art of Historical Fiction on Friday, June 13th at 5pm. This special exhibit unveils three original paintings by renowned American artist N.C. Wyeth, created for the commemorative edition of Drums, James Boyd’s seminal novel set in Revolutionary War-era North Carolina. These masterful illustrations—long held in storage and rarely seen—bring Boyd’s vivid narrative to life, capturing the spirit and struggle of a young nation through the eyes of art. Be among the first to view these iconic works at this exclusive opening night event.
