Join at the Weymouth Center for Art, Medicine, & Inspiration: Stroke Recovery Through Art. Exploring the intersection of art and medicine, this event features Weymouth’s artist-in-residence, John Lee. John taught himself to paint with his nondominant hand following his stroke. He will be accompanied by medical professionals Dr. Miller Johnstone III (moderator), Dr. Karen Sullivan (neuropsychologist), and Dr. Henry Tellez (neurologist) for a panel discussion about how the central nervous system may recover and adapt to a stroke, restoring function and quality of life, although the pathway may be unconventional. This event is free and open to the public; however, registration is required. The event is sponsored by Foundation of FirstHealth. To register, CLICK HERE.
