The tradition continues as the The Uprising Theatre Company, producers of the popular “Shakespeare in the Pines Festival,” presents the second annual holiday production: an inventive re-creation of Charles Dickens’s holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. This evening promises dramatically intimate and profoundly moving theatre, deeply rooted in the social and religious spirit of Christmas.

“Dickens and His Christmas Carol, our original take on this timeless tale, is a more simply staged version of the classic, presented in the spirit of how Dickens himself performed it on his tours throughout Europe and the U.S.– as a one-man endeavor.”
