Experience the joy of exceptional music; the Carolina Philharmonic’s 2025-2026 Season awaits! Celebrate the season with the annual festive Holiday Pops concert featuring beloved holiday classics. The Carolina Philharmonic’s Holiday Pops has stylishly kicked off the Sandhills holiday season since 2012! It’s a festive full orchestra concert event suitable for the entire family. The program includes a variety of holiday favorites with a splash of Broadway glamour and lots of fun. Its popularity has grown annually.

This year, CPH is pleased to present Nikki Renee Daniels as tyhe featured artist. Joyce Reehling has spent over 45 years performing on Broadway, Off Broadway and in many TV and radio commercials. Her credits include Law & Order, NYPD Blue, 25 years with Circle Repertory in NYC working in plays with Bill Hurt, Christopher Reeves, Richard Thomas, Holly Hunter, Mary Louise Parker and others. She has performed with the Judson Theatre here along with the Philharmonic. She and her late husband Tony Elms moved to Pinehurst 17 years ago.

Additionally, Joyce Reehling will be treating our audience to “The Night Before Christmas” recited to music. Originally commissioned by the Cleveland Orchestra, this magical piece is the quintessential setting for the Christmas holiday’s most treasured poem. The sparkling orchestration musically stages the poem from beginning to end. The reading of the poem fits seamlessly into a remarkable composition.

Get into the spirit of the season with all of your beloved holiday favorites. There will be two performances this year: Friday, December 5th at 7:30pm and Saturday, December 6th at 3:00pm. Maestro David Michael Wolff and The Carolina Philharmonic look forward to welcoming you for an evening of musical brilliance!
