The Temple Theatre education staff is so excited to get the Summer Conservatories started! Munchkins & Monarchs & Music…OH MY! is the theme this year and they look forward to exploring some new musicals and challenging plays. There are numerous opportunities for students of all ages, and they look forward to expanding our skills and bringing new life to classic theatre!

Young Hamlet returns home from university to discover the world-shattering news that, not only is his father (Old Hamlet) newly dead, but that his mother, Gertrude, has married Old Hamlet’s brother, Claudius, and that Claudius is now king.

Shakespeare Theatre Conservatory is an AUDITION ONLY two-week performance conservatory for students 13 to 18. Participants attend classes and rehearsals led by the Temple staff and professional guest instructors. This will culminate in a complete production in front of a live audience.
