The Stage is Set at STARS Charter School! From heartwarming music to dazzling choreography, these shows feature the talent that students have been rehearsing for weeks. Get ready for a heartwarming night of music, laughter, and inspiration as STARS Charter School proudly presents “Honk Jr.” — a charming musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless tale, The Ugly Duckling. Performances take place on November 5th with Casts A and B, and on November 6th with Casts C and D, both beginning at 6:00pm at the Bradford Performing Arts Center.

“Honk Jr.” follows the journey of “Ugly,” a unique duckling who feels out of place in his pond but soon discovers that being different is something to be celebrated. Filled with memorable songs, witty humor, and powerful messages about acceptance, self-confidence, and kindness, this musical will leave audiences young and old smiling long after the final bow. Performed by the talented middle school theater students, Honk Jr. showcases the creativity, dedication, and teamwork that define the STARS performing arts program.
