This October, bring your family to Discovery Place Kids – Rockingham for a month of indoor fun centered around the theme, Spooky Science. Every visit to the children’s museum is filled with hands-on learning as you explore the mysterious, creepy, and crawly side of the natural world, from eerie plants to nocturnal creatures. October 14-20: Trap-tastic Engineering challenges kids to design their own bug-trapping contraptions.

October 21-27: The Secret Life of Slime lets you explore slime mold and make your own oozy slime.
