The Southern Pines Civic Club, a 70-member women’s club founded in 1907, engages residents in education and charitable work to “improve the quality of life in our community.” Each monthly meeting at our clubhouse features a significant speaker or service activity. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the Southern Pines Civic Club in Downtown Southern Pines.

On the Monday, January 5th meeting, the speaker is Maggie Bonecutter, FirstHealth of the Carolinas liaison for Hospice and Palliative Care. She will explain options for end-of-life care in our area and respond to questions. Light refreshments and announcements will begin at 1:00pm with the speaker beginning at 1:20pm.
