Join the 2026 Resolution Run and FirstHealth Fitness Fest in Downtown Sanford on Saturday, January 24th, 2026. This event is a great way to start your new year goals with either a scenic run or walk through the historic downtown area, followed by the Fitness Fest to celebrate healthy living.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30am, and the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starts shortly after at 8:32am.

The USATF-certified 5K course runs through the streets of Downtown Sanford, passing historic homes, Fire Station #1, and City Hall, concluding with a downhill finish in front of Hugger Mugger Brewing. The One-mile Fun Run/Walk also starts and finishes in front of Hugger Mugger Brewing, with a turnaround spot at Chisholm Street.
