Join as Sandhills Repertory Theatre presents Operatic Broadway on Saturday, April 27th at 7pm and Sunday, April 28th at 2pm! An exciting new show that focuses on those shows from Broadway that have an operatic feel! Enjoy a concert of songs from Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, West Side Story, South Pacific, Showboat, Porgy & Bess, Carousel and many more! The show will feature performers from the Metropolitan Opera in NYC, opera and theater stages from Europe and Broadway.

The accompanist and music director, John Fischer, is an accomplished musician, having performed throughout the country with various symphony orchestras and Broadway star solo concerts, including Lincoln Center in NYC. Hailing from NYC are the three performers.

Maria Maxfield you may remember as one of the Opera Cowgirls who SRT presented last fall. She is an accomplished soprano from the Metropolitan Opera in NYC, and who has performed in many venues around the country.

Chad Kranak is a tenor who has sung the role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, and who has appeared on stage in both theater and opera houses.

Cedric Leiba, Jr. is an award-winning actor, singer, dancer, writer and producer. He has toured nationally with Rent and Miss Saigon as well as performed at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris in a production of Carmen la Cubana.
