Join the community in honoring breast cancer fighters and survivors at the Randolph County Breast Cancer Walk on Friday, October 17th from 4:00pm-6:30pm at the Zoo City Sportsplex in Asheboro. A $10 donation to Cone Health allows you to walk, with payment accepted at the gate or via the flyer’s QR code. Enjoy the walking route, fire department activities with the Pink Fire Truck, sheriff’s vehicles on display, and health resource booths. Food trucks include Hot Dog Central, Kona Ice, Smokin Mac, T 5 BBQ, and Taste of Creole Travelin Toms, plus Randolph County Animal Services will feature adoptable dogs. All proceeds from the event will go toward ensuring access to essential mammogram screenings and patient support services for those who need it most.
