The Moore County Choral Society, a 70-member community chorus in its 51st season of enriching the Sandhills, is preparing for its April 26, 2026 spring concert, titled Perhaps Love. Featured are beautiful choral selections–classical, contemporary, and popular–about varieties of human love, from romantic passion and family devotion to compassion and gratitude for mankind. Weekly rehearsals take place Tuesdays, 7:30-9:30pm, at Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church (330 S. May St., Southern Pines). Newcomers and returning singers, adults and students, are invited to arrive January 6th or January 13th at 6:30pm for orientation (no auditions).
