The Judson Theatre Company presents the 2nd Annual JTC Summer Theatre Festival! Enjoy three exciting shows running July 21-August 27 all performed in the lovely and intimate McPherson Theater Black Box at the Bradshaw Performing Arts Center. Join for six continuous weeks of professional theatre right here in the Sandhills!

The festival opens with the hit musical, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Performances run July 21st-30th. This is the second-longest running off-Broadway musical in theater history.

“The beloved show follows the highs and lows of first dates, first loves, marriages, babies, in-laws, and growing old together, paying tribute to those who have loved and lost, and to those who have dared to ask someone out on a date. The show was first performed off-Broadway in 1996. Over the years, DiPietro and Roberts have updated lyrics in the show’s numbers to make the production more relevant to today’s pop culture and technology-driven environment.”

The second show of the festival is an exciting contemporary play, to be announced! The surprise play will run August 4th-August 13th. Stay tuned for more details to come!

The JTC Summer Theatre Festival concludes with “The Last Five Years” presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). Performances will run August 18th-August 27th.

“Jason Robert Brown’s popular musical The Last Five Years tells the story of two twenty-something New Yorkers who fall head over heels in love over the course of a five year relationship. Jamie, an up-and-coming writer, struggles to balance his sudden success with his increasingly tumultuous love life, while Cathy, an aspiring actress, deals with the frustrations of her own stalled career while watching her husband from the sidelines. In a city where professional and personal passions collide, navigating the waters of love and matrimony can sometimes prove to be a lot to handle.”
