Imagine Youth Theater is holding open auditions for Heathers, The Musical (School Ed)! Auditions are for rising 8th graders through recent HS graduates.

“The Musical is a darkly comedic and subversive stage adaptation of the cult classic 1988 film Heathers. Set in the fictional Westerberg High School, the musical follows Veronica Sawyer, a high school student longing to fit in with the popular clique known as the Heathers. However, Veronica’s world is turned upside down when she encounters the mysterious and charismatic new student, JD. As Veronica becomes increasingly entangled in JD’s dangerous schemes to overthrow the social hierarchy, she must confront the consequences of her actions and decide where her loyalties truly lie. Filled with catchy musical numbers, sharp wit, and themes of teenage angst, power dynamics, and the search for identity, Heathers: The Musical offers a provocative and thought-provoking exploration of the trials and tribulations of high school life.”
