Visit the Hastings Art Gallery to view “Weight as Real” exhibit by Peter Marin! The opening reception will be held on Wednesday, November 5th | 11:00am-12:30pm featuring works delving into fantastical worlds of color, libraries, labrynths and enless architecture. Free pizza from Vito’s will be provided at the reception. Make sure to stay after for a free lecture from Peter Marin at 1:00pm. This lecture will be located in Kennedy Room 002. All are welcome—students, teachers, staff and community members alike. The exhibit will be available for viewing through November 20th.

“The Jean Hastings Art Gallery displays exhibits of art, photography, crafts and other artifacts. The Jean Hastings Art Gallery is housed in the Katharine L. Boyd Library on the campus of Sandhills Community College. Guest and student art is displayed on a monthly basis. Admission is free and the gallery is open during library hours.”
