Join Sustainable Sandhills along with community partners, vendors, sponsors and donors for an Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 20th | 8am-3pm at Festival Park in Fayetteville! Sustainable Sandhills organizes this annual Earth Day community engagement event exclusively for the Sandhills Region to raise awareness about the importance of Earth Day, promote the responsible usage of natural resources and foster resilient opportunities for both current and future generations. During the 2024 celebration there will be a 5k and 10k races, a cornhole tournament, games and environmental education. Enjoy local food and drinks. Help keep the area clean by participating in the Fayetteville Beautiful Supply Pickup and Cumberland Clean Supply Pickup drives. Dispose of electronic waste at the e-waste drive.
