The community is invited to join Dog Walk Club! This is a free event, and everyone is welcome. The club is hosted by Family Veterinary Mobile Clinic. The group meets in Sanford on the 1st Sunday and in Southern Pines on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Walking locations vary as well as a group hangout spot. The group will receive free training tips to help your dog walk nicely on a loose leash. The club does not accept any dog on a slip lead or a choke, prong or shock collar. If your dog needs training, it will be with positive reinforcement, so don’t feed your dog before the walk and bring treats. Private 2-session Leash Walk Boot Camp Training Courses are also available.
