The community is invited as Sandhills Classical Christian School presents “An Evening with Dr. Ben Carson” on Wednesday, February 7th at 7pm. Dr. Ben Carson is a retired neurosurgeon, academic, author, politician and Founder & Chairman of the American Cornerstone Institute. Dr. Carson will deliver remarks on the state of education in America, discussing the work he is doing at the American Cornerstone Institute. He will also speak about his new release Created Equal: The Painful Past, Confusing Present, and Hopeful Future of Race in America. The lecture takes place in the Arts & Athletics Center.
