The Moore County Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task Force is proud to host the 4th Annual Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Symposium, a free event open to the public. Join for a day of learning, awareness, and collaboration to strengthen our community’s response to domestic violence and sexual assault.

The symposium is held on Thursday, October 16th from 8:30am-4:00pm at The Paddock at Red’s Corner in Southern Pines. Registration will open at 8:30am, with the event officially beginning at 8:55am. Speaking topics will include trauma informed care in the judicial system, stalking and technology enabled abuse, and a survivor led panel. We are proud to share that Aberdeen Police Department’s very own Det. Flora will be one of the many guest speakers!
