In 2026, the nation will mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence — a once-in-a-generation milestone. Communities across the country will host special events, tributes, and educational opportunities to honor America’s story and the people who shaped it.

Here in the Pines, we’re doing what we do best: coming together, celebrating the past, and creating meaningful moments for the next generation.

How You Can Be Part of America 250 in the Pines

We want this to be a celebration that includes everyone — families, schools, veterans groups, artists, small businesses, churches, nonprofits, and local leaders.

Here are a few easy ways to join in:

  • Submit an event for free (or feature it as a sponsored listing)
  • Share a story: a veteran tribute, family legacy, or local history moment
  • Host an America 250 activity (history night, live music, themed menu, pop-up, or lecture)
